Parenting steps offers supportive steps to successful parenting by restoring your confidence as a parent or carer and building on key skills that you already possess. At parenting steps we understand the impact on family relationships when things just aren't going quite right! We provide both individual bespoke packages and group parenting courses.

Parenting steps can offer new and alternative management strategies in several key areas, including:

  • Tricky toddlers
  • Sleep problems
  • Emotional and behavioural difficulties
  • Wetting and soiling
  • Low Self-esteem
  • Anxiety and phobias

Parenting steps will work with you in your home with a programme tailored specifically to your families' needs. Ongoing telephone support is offered alongside follow up appointments for as long as you require.

Parenting steps also offer structured parenting courses at many local venues but they can also be held in your home or community site to a group of parent friends. As a professional woman I was shocked and discouraged when I found my daughters behaviour impossible to manage! She had always been such an easy going and placid baby, then at 2 years the 'Terrible Twos' truly began! Emma was wonderful, so supportive and understanding, I never felt like a failure. The methods Emma taught me have been successful and now I feel so confident in my parenting.

As a single parent and not one to admit I needed help, I tried to deal with my son's behaviour alone. When the situation deteriorated and it started to affect our relationship, I asked Parenting Steps for help. The help and advice Parenting Steps gave me was invaluable and with their support, things soon improved. I would therefore highly recommend Parenting Steps.
